Romania Art Museum Federick & Cecilia Storck
The museum is located in the house designed by the artists with the help of architect Alexandru Clavel and constructed in 1912–1913. Frederick was a sculpture artist, while Cecilia Cutescu- his wife- was a painter. The images on the walls are her art, and as you enter the first room, the theme is "Eden" - pictured as a symphony of nature and feminity. It is said that gypsy women are portrayed and sculpted in their works, besides many important Romanian artists or even royalty. The couple held a house in Balcik.
