Romania Etnographic Arts Museum
Baia Mare is a small city in the north-west Romania, which used to be host to many dirty industries (mostly in the mining sector). After the collapse of the communism, and consequently of the inefficient soviet-style mining industry, the city had no way but to focus in its tourism potential, especially given the fact that it's the capital of the idyllic Maramures county.

Photography Tips
This is an ideal shoot location for the non-adventurous type. In front of the museum is a large open grass-field, used mostly as a recreational location by the locals.
Travel Information
The fastest way to get to Baia Mare would be by plane to Cluj Napoca, and then a rental car drive or train (1st class recommended) to Baia Mare. To get to this spot, it's probably easier if you would ask directions towards the 'Stadium'.
