Access is only possible by foot on tourist trails. You have two options. The easiest one is with car to Camping Poiana Pelegii (I've indicated on the map), from there it's a 2 hour hike of around 3-4km. It is less crowded during the weekdays and pretty hellish on weekends. The road is in poor condition but passable with small car. The other road is from the north with car from Carnic and a 6 hour hike.
