Russian Federation Fish village, Kaliningrad
Kaliningrad is perhaps not the easiest of places to get to. The Russian visa alone will hold back many visitors. But once there, you will see an interesting city, a city that is trying to shake of the old Soviet drabness. Once this was the Prussian city of Königsberg, but little remains of that period. The Fish Village is their best attempt at tourism, with a new waterfront promenade and a number of nice cafes and restaurants. It is situated next to Kant Island where the big Königsberg Cathedral stands and the grave of Immanuel Kant.
Photography Tips
This is an ideal location for photographing a blue hour.
