Russian Federation Inside Eremitage

The Eremitage of St. Petersburg (State Hermitage Museum of Russia) is one of the most famous art galleries and museum of the world. It is a mus to visit it when visiting St. Petersburg. But be sure to get your tickets in advance to avoid a very long time waiting for entry.

But the Eremitage is not only a museum, it is a beautiful impressive building as well. But most people concentrate on the exhibition and have no eyes for the architecture and the design of the rooms. Therefore I show some pictures from the inside.

Of course tripods are not allowed and you have to leave your bags and rucksacks at the entry. Be sure to have a good zoom lens with you that allowas you to take fotos of the shown paintings as well as of the rooms.

As we went there as a grup by bus I can't give any informations for travelling.
