Sprawling and extravagant gardens at the Summer Palace of Peter the Great at St Petersburg is a wonderful location for photography. The palace itself has a large number of statues, almost all of which are guided with gold foils. The gardens here are on the facade of the Palace and are called the Lower Gardens. Dotted with numerous fountains this location is sure to offer wonderful compositions.

Travel Information

Located on the outskirts of St Petersburg, the Palace is easily accessible by transit underground public transport and takes about 2 hours to reach from the city centre. If you have a car, there is ample parking available in the palace grounds.
