The tents belong to the Eco Lodge in the Lompoul Dessert in Senegal. The place is rather touristy and must have lost a lot of its charm in recent years as silicon hs been discovered in the area and mining activities disturb the peace. It is quite noisy at night and in fact, in a few years this lodge will be gone due to ongoing mining activities.

You can come on a tour or drive to Lompoul village yourself. From there 4WD will take you to the lodge.
