Serbia Kozji Kamen, Dobri Do

Zavojsko Lake is an artificial lake located at the foot of Stara Planina, 15 km away from the city of Pirot. It is 17 kilometers long, with maximum width of 300 meters and maximum depth is about 60 meters. You can enjoy an amazing view of Zavojsko Lake from the viewpoint called Kozij kamen ("Goat Rock").

A wide angle lens is recommended.

The viewpoint is about 18 km from Pirot and you can reach it when you leave the city in the direction of the village of Rsovci. After you pass the town's ski resort as well as the mountain lodge, you will come across a large sign on the right side of the road. It marks the beginning of the path to the viewpoint and you can leave your car there (at the road extension). The path, that leads to the viewpoint, is on the left side of the road. The trail is about 3.5 km long and is very easy. After an hour of easy walking, you will reach your destination. What gives this adventure a special charm is that you will be passing through the untouched nature of this area during the entire journey.
