Serbia Đerdap National Park
The Đerdap National Park is located on the Serbian side of the Danube river where it divides Serbia from Romania. The area also known as "Iron Gate" is rich in natural beauty and features several man-made must-sees such as the Golubac Fortress right at the area where the Danube river is at its widest. The highlight of the scenery is to be found where the Danube reaches its narrowest point, though (see pictures) where the distance between Serbia and Romania is ca. 100m only.
Photography Tips
Do not stop after the first "wow" moment... the further you go, the more insanely beautiful the landscapes are!
