Singapore Marina Bay Sands Light Show

Before visiting the Marina Bay Sands Light Show you must choose which part of the show you want to watch. You have to be at the Marina Bay Sands side to watch the Water Show in front of the Marina Bay Sands and you have to be across the bay to watch the Light Show. So it’s unpossible to watch both at the same time. But you can catch one at 8pm and then stroll over to the other side to catch the other one at 9.30pm.

The two best places to watch the show are by the Marina Bay Sands hotel just outside by the marina or directly opposite by the Merlion looking across towards the hotel. I would definitely recommend watching it from different locations. The follwing exposures were taken from the public rooftop of the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay, Singapore with a full view of the bay.

Use a tripod, set up your aperture on f8 and try several exposures times. Might worth to go up with the ISO get a shorter exposure time as the lasers don't stay at the same time for a long period.

Prettey easy to get to the Business district in Singapore. Go inside the Esplanade Mall and walk upstairs to the open air public area.
