Singapore Kallang River

The Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Marina area is one of the most heavily photographed areas of Singapore. But if you follow the river a bit further inland along the park past the Singapore Flyer, photographers can enjoy views which sweep up not only the river but whole chunks of the Singapore skyline. Plus it's more peaceful than the tourist area.

The sunset is nearly always around 7pm due to Singapore's location near the equator. Look for the piers jutting into the river for good places to set up.

The Nicholl Highway MRT station gives easy access to the Kallang River park upstream area or if you coming from the casino, cross over the Helix Bridge, walk around past the Singapore Flyer.
