Singapore Gardens by the Bay SuperTree forest, Singapore
Gardens by the Bay is a commercial garden built to complement the marina development around the Marina Bay Sands casino and hotel. The SuperTree forest consists of giant scaffolding structures that light up at night. Although heavily photographed, the SuperTree forest still presents many angles and vistas that have not yet been explored photographically.
To see it at its best, there are two performances a night at 7:45 and 8:45. The sound quality is as excellent as the rapidly changing light show.

Photography Tips
Sunset (6:30-7:30 pm) is the best time to shoot with big open skies and the SuperTree forest lighting coming up in the blue hour. Wide angle lenses are needed to capture the full scale of the forest. Most commercial photographs shoot from the other side of the river by the Singapore Flyer but inside the forest itself are some great water features that are rarely captured. The iconic MBS hotel can also be shot from within the forest. A great spot for time-lapse photography too.
Travel Information
Parking is available for the Gardens by the Bay park. Alternatively, the Bayfront and Marina MRT (subway) stops inside the casino are nearby to the riverside entrance to the park.
