Little India in Singapore is an interesting mix of cultures and architecture that stands out against the hyperdevelopment that dominates the rest of the inner city areas in Singapore. Old shophouses, decaying alleyways, bustling street markets, restaurants of all kinds, temples, mosques and red light areas can all be found in close proximity to each other in Little India, making for interesting photo opportunities around every corner.

Avoid Little India on Sunday evenings unless you want to capture the crowds of people that congregate there every week.

Accessible by subway. Avoid driving in this area due to pedestrian traffic and lack of parking.
