Slovenia Jamnik church of St. Primoz and Felician
Jamnik, church of St. Primoz and Felician, is purched on top of a hill surrounded by mountains, densely populated green trees. My favorite spot of the church, which will undoubtedly follow somewhere in the future, is the one that shows the church against the background of the mountains. However, on that particular day my friend had meticulously figured out the position of the moon hovering over the church at that particular hour on the other side of the road which does not show the mountains. Anyway one on the 635 road you can determine your own position.
Photography Tips
A tripod and a zoom lens is necessary although you will have to squeeze yourself at the side of the road. Slovenia's national roads are not overly crowded and the Slovenians are safe and calm drivers. If you wish to shoot the moon, you will definitely need at least a 200mm lens My shot was made with two exposures, one for the moon and the other for the church which I later blended in photoshop.
Travel Information
I included the info in the photography tips. My position was right at the curve 46.276548, 14.206325.
