Slovenia Sv. Marjeta, Šmarjetna Gora, Kranj, Slovenia

Šmarjetna gora is a 643m hill that rises above Kranj on the right bank of the Sava, Next to the church there's the Bellevue Hotel with a large terrace adjacent to the Church of Sv. Marjeta, dated back to the 13th century. From the terrace there is a unique view of the entire Kranj and its surroundings. When the weather is nice, up to 20% of Slovenia can be seen from the hotel's viewing terrace. You may park at the hotel's parking lot and even enjoy a coffee or tea from the automat.

Mid range zoom lens is fine but for the surrounding panoramas you may definitely want to have Long Range zoom lenses.

You can get here by car - there's ample parking spots that belongs to the Bellevue hotel.
