Slovenia Slap Kozjak (Kozjak Waterfall)

The Kozjak Falls near Kobarid is the largest of six waterfalls over which the Kozjak, a left tributary of the Soča, flows into the valley.

The cave is so wide that you can fly your drone in there. But mind the absence of GPS so fly carefully, best in cine mode, where you control your drone with precision. If you have bring a wide angle for your drone and an ND filter to snap a long exposure. Experiment with different angles very low or very close to the waterfall.

The waterfall is easily reachable via the built path and observation platform. But if you want to get close to the waterfall bring some Wellington boots to make your way through the small river depending on the amount of water. Parking is a little tricky and limited to 1-2 cars. The best way is to spend a night at the campsite Kamp Lazar for 15€ a person and get up early to hike to the waterfall. Hiking time is about 15 minutes with some beautiful water landscapes along the path.
