South Africa Valley Of Desolation, Camdeboo National Park
The Valley Of Desolation is a section of Camdeboo National Park, a far away part of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Here the erosion of the softer sedimentary beds has left dolerite pillars which rise to heights of 90-120 metres.
Photography Tips
I shot this picture during a thunderstorm when the beautiful light enhanced all tones of green of this amazing and desolate landscape.
