It's all about the cheetahs around here! This spot in Kruger National Park is where the main tarmac H7 (Orpen - Satara) Road has junctions with the gravel S36 going south and S39 going north to Timbavati. It's well-known as one of the best areas for these cats and they use the brick route signs as lookout posts similar to the way they often do with anthills.

Photography Tips

It can get busy with large numbers of vehicles if there is a good sighting as this is on a main route from a gate to a rest camp.
