Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, straddling the border between South Africa and Botswana, is a vast wilderness area renowned for its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife. Established in 2000 through the merger of South Africa's Kalahari Gemsbok National Park and Botswana's Gemsbok National Park, it covers over 38,000 square kilometers.
