Spain City of Arts and Sciences Valencia
It's really worth walking all the way around this complex to find different compositions. I took these two shots on the east side of the science museum which is less frequently photographed, but no less impressive than the other side.
Photography Tips
Shoot up with a wide angle lens. Symmetry is everything here, so make sure your camera is properly levelled and your composition is straight.
You might find the dynamic range here is more than your camera can handle, particularly on a bright day when this side is in shadow, so consider bracketing for HDR or blending later.
Long exposure works well here if there are enough clouds moving in the sky.
This particular spot is not a sunrise / sunset spot, so consider shooting it in the middle of the day.
I'd recommend shooting in a south-easterly direction for sunrise and a north-westerly direction for sunset. In my experience that just tends to be the way the sky gets coloured best, but choose a different spot than this for sunset and sunrise.
