Spain Cap de Formentor / Formentor peninsula
Enjoy great sunsets at Talaia a'Albercutx (which is an abandoned watch tower) close to Pollenca on the northeast side of Majorca. Most tourists will go further to Cap de Formentor to reach the eastern end of Majora. Too bad they don't get to see the beautiful light that is falling on the rocks from the setting sun... You won't be alone at the tower, but I was mostly surrounded by outdoor lovers who know how to take a moment without making too much noise. We all had a calm and relaxing sundowner.
Photography Tips
Parking is around the corner so bring your heavy tripod. You won't have to carry it for too long :) I'd loved to have my ND filters with me but forgot them and ended up with not-so-smooth water. It's the mediterranean sea though and it is not as wild as the pacific or Atlantic ocean.
Travel Information
Parking is available at the marked parking space but the rest of the road fills with cars when the sun starts setting.
