Tossa de Mar is situated on the Costa Brava an can be reached by bus from Barcelona Nord (Sarfa Moventis direct bus, that also stops in Lloret del Mar). It is a perfect destination if you are looking for a getaway from the vibrant city, or if you are simply looking to see some Costa Brava landscapes during a shorter visit in Barcelona. During summer, there are great return conections all day long. If you are visiting the area for a longer period, also consider renting a car and explore another wonderful location - Begur(as you go N from Tossa).
Before getting to the village of Tossa, I noticed a wonderful natural park in the mountaines, called Massís de les Cadiretes( I am not sure, but you can search it online).
