Spain Caldera de Taburiente - Taburiente's Crater

La caldera de taburiente es el cráter del volcan de la Isla de la Palma. A la isla de La Palma se le llama "La isla Bonita" por ser una de las mas bellas de todas las islas canarias.La foto esta tomada desde una zona del crater llamada "El roque los muchachos". Podeis observar que la vegetación al la parte mas cercana es escasa . Sin embargo en la zona del cráter mas alejada se forma un denso bosque de pinos.Esto se debe a que esa zona del crater colapso y esta a mucho metros por debajo de la zona donde se ha tomado la foto. Al fondo se ve la zona alta de la Isla de La Gomera con su verde parque de Garajonay.
The Caldera de Taburiente is the crater of the volcano of the Isla de la Palma. The island of La Palma is called "La Isla Bonita" because it is one of the most beautiful of all the Canary Islands. The photo is taken from an area of the crater called "El roque los muchachos". You can see that the vegetation in the closest part is scarce. However, in the farthest crater area a dense pine forest forms, this is because that area of the crater collapsed and is many meters below the area where the photo was taken. In the background you can see the upper area of the Island of La Gomera with its green Garajonay park.

Es una toma fácil pero hay que tener cuidado porque es un lugar relativamente peligroso por sus acantilados.
It is an easy shot but you have to be careful because it is a relatively dangerous place for its cliffs.
