Spain Mirador Es Colomer, Mallorca
Mirador Es Colomer is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the north of Mallorca on the way to Cap Formentor and it's worth a visit. Although this spot is pretty tourist during the day, it's still worth visiting it as a photographer during sunrise or sunset and you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view down to the ocean.
Photography Tips
Probably the best time to be at this spot is during sunset, even if the sun is behind you. The reason is, that those stone walls have a beautiful red glow when the sun sets and the last rays hit the cliffs. Try to be there at least 30 minutes before sunset, because the red glow only lasts a few minutes and you don't want to miss it.
I would also recommend you use an ND filter to soften out the water to have even more contrast between the soft water and the edgy stones + the contrast between the blue water and the red glowing stones.
