Photography Tips
During summer Roque Nublo is a very busy, touristic attraction, therefore there are going to be a lot of people, especially during sunset as you can see an incredible view of the sun setting behind Tenerife.
Roque Nublo is also a very popular attraction for locals that want to go stargazing.
It is best to go there early to secure your spot before all the other people arrive.
Make sure to bring an ND filter as the light can be very harsh, and to shoot multiple photos with different exposures that can be later merged using the exposure blending technique, to have better chances of having a well-exposed shot in those very harsh light conditions.
The valley view from Roque Nublo offers a great variety of layers to play with, so it is advised to have multiple lenses to take advantage of all the beautiful details.

Travel Information
Roque Nublo is located in the central municipality of Tejeda, which is about 1-hour drive from Las Palmas.
There is a small free parking lot on-site and followed by a short 40 minutes hike to get to the top. The hike is not very difficult but the temperatures can be quite high, especially in summer, so make sure you bring plenty of water.
The parking lot does not have many spots so I would advise again to get there early to ensure your spot.
Getting there by public transportation can be quite a long way and very difficult so I would definitely suggest renting a car to give yourself the comfort of managing your own times,
