Spain The Entallada lighthouse
The Entallada lighthouse is a very peculiar building built in 1953, and is unique in the entire Canary Islands. It was designed by the architect Carlos Alcón.
The building consists of a tower and three identical houses.
It is located in the municipality of Tuineje, about 6 kilometers from the town of Las Playitas, and about 12 from Gran Tarajal.
It is located at the top of a 200 meter high cliff, and is the closest geographical point in the Canary Islands to Africa (about 100 kilometres).
