Spain Madrid desde La Marañosa
One of the best spots of Madrid skyline. From this point it is possible to have Madrid skyline, including the RTVE (television tower) within the frame being framed with Madrid mountains.
Photography Tips
I shot this picture with a m4/3 300mm lens. It is necessary to have a very transparent atmosphere to shoot this picture as the mountains are at 54 km distance and the city at 16 km. It is needed the use of a tripod, especially with long exposures.
Travel Information
Getting the spot is somehow complex.
This is a coto de caza (private hunting area), it is advisable to ensure visibility to avoid problems and avoid entering if hunting is ongoing.
This place is beside a military area, therefore avoid flying drones and never trespass the fence.
Parking is also limited and challenging, you have very limited space one place is Camino La Marañosa (https://goo.gl/maps/oF44sZBjr4JYyQwYA), beside the fence of the military base; the other place is in M-301 (https://goo.gl/maps/vsL4q5XC7i1SAfqa7). In any case you will walk 20 minutes until reach the location.
