It is a Gothic-style cathedral that was built between the 15th and 20th centuries. The cathedral features a beautiful stained-glass rose window and ornate chapels dedicated to various saints. It is the seat of the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of the Canaries and is a popular tourist attraction in the city.
