Spain Faro del Caballo

A really nice lighthouse between Santander and Bilbao. Normally it is not very crowded, so you can make a nice photo.

Please note: from the marked parking spot you have to walk to the lighthouse. First, you can walk the street obove the lighthouse. At half-time you see the old lighthouse "Faro del Pescador". At this point the paved road ends. Now you have to hike the way through the forest. No chance to get lost, but the hike is about 40 minutes.
After that you will see a little crossing with a sign that says "Faro del Caballo - 760 stairs". This is the most difficult part. The stairs - made from prisoners - are not easy. There is no other way back. You have to climb up.
