Spain Sabina de La Mérica, La Gomera
Right at the Risco de la Mérica stands alone a single "Sabina-tree" right at the edge of the stunning sea cliff / mountain. It is kind of unreal to see nothing but this sea here, watching the ocean and standing strong in the wind.
Photography Tips
Wait for blue hour, take a creative light with you and enlighten that shadowy sabine tree in this wonderful mix of colors. A super wide angle is needed here. Otherwise you will not be able to capture the whole tree since the path and angles to shoot from are quite narrowed down.
Travel Information
The hike follows along old farmers paths until the cliff summit. The hike in total will take you around 1:30h. You will need to "climb" around 150m in height before the path leads you down another around 200m in height.
