Spain Ruta de los Pinos

This photo was taken from a spot on the Rota de los Pinos trail outside Conchar above the Rio Durcal Gorge. The camera is pointing south east towards the Lecrin Valley

The first half of the walk should be shot in the morning between sunrise and eleven o'clock. The second half in the evening when the sun is the other side of the hill

Don't drive into Conchar, there is very little parking and very narrow streets. Instead, turn right after you drive over the bridge at the entrance to the village and drive up the concrete road above the village. There is ample parking off this road, before you get past the village.

The spot the photograph was taken from is on a hiking route called Ruta de los Pinos. This is signposted on the concrete road, the entrance to the path is on a road that goes down to the village, sharp left from the concrete road.
