The spot is based on the island Cabrera near Mallorca. It is a small island with nearly no inahbitants and is one large national park. The spot itself is on top of a mountain castle nearby the natural harbour.

Due to nearly no light pollution except of a lighthouse, it should be an exceptional spot for milky way photography. However, then you have to stay with a sailing boat, because visitors are not allowed overnight.

Travel Information

There are daily trips to this island from Mallorca. If you want to stay overnight with a sailing boat, you need to get a government permission. Only 50 boats are allowed per night and it is only allowed to park inside the natural harbour.
