Spain Estació del Nord - historic train station
Estació del Nord (the North Station) was built by Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España (Railways of the North of Spain) in 1917. It was listed as a cultural heritage monument in 1987. There is a newer station to the south. I was told that Estació del Nord was scheduled to be closed but because of its heritage value it will remain in some repurposed form. The beautiful interior with its mosaics and timber detailing is in near original condition.
Photography Tips
I chose to do a five shot panorama but there are many interesting details both on the facade and the interior that are worthy of attention. My 24-70mm full-frame lens was more then adequate.
