Spain Playa de Mónsul, Cabo de Gata
Wild beach at the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve. A natural monument at this beach (not in my picture) is the "Petrified Wave". (google: ola petrificada Mónsul)
I took this picture because I liked the light and the composition with this dead branch.

Photography Tips
Strong winds can make photography very difficult here. I shot this one in 100km/h storm, a filter flew away and as I dashed after it, my tripod with my camera was knocked over and landed in the sand. When I had just picked it up, the next gust of wind took my glasses away. This time I ran after it with tripod and camera in my hand. I must have looked like an idiot. Do expect some unnerving winds on this corner of Southern Spain.
