Spain Convent of St. Stephen, Salamanca, Spain
The church and the monastery were built by the Dominicans during the 16th C. Construction took so long and involved a number of architects with the result that the buildings incorporate a number of styles from Gothic to the late Baroque. The church facade is said to be one of the finest examples of the Plateresque style that incorporates fine detail in the manner of a silversmith.
Photography Tips
Do your research and make sure you can get access to the interior. Apparently it has some spectacular spaces. Unfortunately I was not able to gain access.
For night photography use a tripod and HDR technique to avoid blown out highlights and stopped up black areas. Use a wide angle lens. These were shot at 24mm f.l.

Travel Information
I flew to Salamanca. For easy access to the historic areas it is best to get accommodation in the old town. There are plenty of options available. You can then walk everywhere.
