Behind the infamous Ella town lief the valley into the deep green lands of the higher situated area. It's super often quite rainy here which in combination with the sun delivers beautiful rainbows.

Photography Tips

When there is a rainbow, try to get to a higher position so that you can see the end of it. But be aware, the closer the rainbow comes, the closer the wall of rain, too (if it's moving your way).

The area is easily accessible by foot. It's around a 10 minutes walk from the main road of Ella town.
