The Adams Peak is one of the highest mountains of Sri Lanka at 2.243m elevation.

Photography Tips

When using the drone here, please speak with the local authorities before and figure out the options. In most cases, there is a letter required and directly at the summit no flights are permitted. You would need to start a bit far off it and follow all regulations stated by the authorities after contacting them.

Travel Information

To get to its summit, you would need to climb around 12.000 stairs which is super exhausting. When it's rainy, the stairs get super slippery so you want to make sure to have proper boots with you. Furthermore, please consider that when gaining altitude there is a significant drop in temperature up at the summit - so please pack warm clothes to prevent freezing.
