No one around in this historic location, just the desert. It seems that an Italian self proclaimed archeologist decapitated the pyramids looking for treasures - and found practically none.
It was one of the most inspiring wild camps on my solo road trip around Africa with my dog Thimba.

Travel Information

It's around 200 km from Khartoum, and you need a well equipped 4WD and camping gear.
It's in the middle of the desert.
