Sweden Håverud Skalåsknatten, Pilgrimsleden

The Pilgrimsleden is a 100km hiking trail in Dalsland. I have hiked just minor parts of it and even less with photo gear, so feel free to explore the whole path, there might be many scenic spots.
Next to Håverud is the Skalåsknatten that provides views of the various lakes in the area. Especially enjoyable around mid-August when the heathers are blooming and millions of blueberries ready to be picked.

Pay attention to your foreground (mine is not ideal for example) .

Either hike from the Håverud parking lot or (if you have enough clearance) park at the marked spot. Follow the gravel road through Skalåsen (small farm) until you reach the hiking signs for Pilgrimsleden and turn right. Follow the path uphill until you reach the rocks.
little hint: The little cottage at Skalåsen is up for rent on airbnb, perfect for a little basecamp.
