Sweden Arjeplogs Kyrka
The church is the second on the site and construction began in 1760 and was consecrated in 1768. It was designed by master builder Lars Ersson Sundbohm from Måttsund, Luleå. The master builder was Johan Tengmark from Umeå. The church building is beautifully situated on a headland in Lake Hornavan and was built as a timber cross church, with an entrance from the lake side.
