You have plenty of photo locations and options year-round along the hiking trail called Kavsjön Runt, which leads around the lake called Kavsjön. Such as Nature, Birding, and Landscape Photography options.

The Kavsjön runt (hiking trail) can be accessed at several starting points with different parking options. If you just want to photograph the houses search for the closest option, but you will miss many nice spots along the trail.

Photography Tips

Svänö Rastuga is a nice example of Swedish houses. They have the typical red and white at the windows and doors. Thanks to the garden trees you can take photos day round and use the tree shadow when the sun is very high. As this is a kind of public area you can move around the garden and houses to pick the best view.
