The beautiful Valle Malghera at sunset. Just behind there is Lago Malghera (Malghera lake) and a bivouac for shepherds, hunters and mountaineers.

Wrongly the gps says Switzerland, while is Italy

Photography Tips

If you think to stay overnight remember to take food and a lot of layers. Even in summer the temperatures could drop minus zero. If you gonna use the bivouac (there are 4 places), please keep it neat and leave an offer at the end.

Travel Information

You can go by car from the little city of Grosio (Province of Sondrio, North of Italy). Follow the direction to Val Grosina; at Fusino you must pay a fee of 3 € (per day) on automatic machine and then take the road on the left till Malghera.
From there it will take you an hour by walk.
