Switzerland Hüttwilersee
If you're looking for lakes which will have a very mystic touch during the "foggy" seasons: visit the "Hüttwilersee". Located in the eastern Switzerland it is one of my favourite places i visit regularly, because it's like a "Kinder egg": you'll never know what you get, but be assured you won't leave the place without at least one perfect picture!
Photography Tips
If you prefer a rather quiet place, stay away from the lido on the eastern side. In my opinion the best spot is the one i marked on the map. You'd have to walk a bit from the parking, but imho it's worth every step. Especially in the mornings you won't have any other people there. If you're interested in waterfowls this is also the spot to go because especially in the early morning hours you can see many of them.
Travel Information
The easiest way to reach the lake is definitely by car (there's a parking on the eastern side of the lake (marked on the map)). If you want to get there by public transports, take the train to "Frauenfeld" and the bus #823 to "Hüttwilen, Stutheien", from there it's a short walk to the lake (~10 minutes).
