Switzerland Oberalbis

The walk between Üetliberg and Sihlbrugg offers great view to both sides of the Albis range. As the highest point is below 1000m altitude, this works in winter too. The total distance is 22km and takes roughly 6 hours but you can shorten the walk. Views to the West are better when you‘re closer to Sihlbrugg as you are closer to the Alps.

Between Albispass and Sihlbrugg a big part of the path is in the forest. Sometimes 50m from the path you‘ll have open fields and great views.

There is public transport to and from Üetliberg, Albispass and Sihlbrugg. Parking is available at Albispass and in Uitikon Waldegg from where you can catch a train to Üetliberg.
