Switzerland Reuss plain
There is a big stork population along the river Reuss between Mühlau and Bremgarten. While some stay during winter, most of the birds arrive in early spring and build or repair their nests on top of various telephone poles. Their clattering announces the arrival of spring and they make great photo subjects at full moon.
Photography Tips
telelens needed, this shot was taken at 400mm/crop sensor at F5.6 1/30s, move your tripod quickly and keep the shutter speed slow to prevent motion blur, obviously you need some patience too
