Switzerland Hohberg/Chesseli

This little pond with no name is on a plateau at just over 1900m altitude. The area is amazing and getting there is an adventure. You can get beautiful reflections of Mittagshorn and/or the landscape on the plateau.

Wide angle lens, tripod and ND filters are needed.

Around 1.5 hours walk from Iffigenalp: Walk up the valley until you reach an alp hut at around 1740m altitude, then turn right and follow the sign for Hohberg. The walk through the forest and up through the rocks is not for the faint-hearted. Only go up here if you feel comfortable with rough mountain tracks. Decent hiking boots, enough to drink and a headlight for the way down after sunset are essential! You shouldn‘t go alone either...
