Along the hiking path between Maloja and Sils Maria you pass a tiny place called Isola.

Travel Information

Easy walk from Maloja (Maloja to Sils takes you roughly 1.5hrs), to get back you can take a bus or walk along Via Engiadina on the ither side of the lake, which is a bit tougher but still manageable (another 1.5-2hrs)
