This cable car is unique since it rotates while climbing the mountain—the best view guarantee for everyone taking the lift.

Use a polarization filter to get rid of reflections of the cable car. A wide angle is cool to capture the other cable car passing, but a zoom lens is also nice to have to photograph the surrounding peaks and glaciers.

You can travel by train from Lucerne or the cable car station car park. Best to take the cable car to the top if you don't want to hike several thousand meters in altitude. You might consider purchasing the Tell Pass if you are visiting central Switzerland for a few days to have free access to public transportation or cable cars.
