Photography Tips

I used a tele-zoom lens to better compress the boat in the foreground and the castle in the background on the hill above Lucerne. It was taken from a ship leaving the city for a lake cruise.

Travel Information

It would be best to explore Lucerne on foot since driving or parking your car is tricky. Parking at the marked garage is relatively cheap for Swiss fees. It might be better to park outside the city and take the bus instead. All photogenic locations are close to each other. Therefore exploring the town on foot is the best!
