Switzerland Tree on a rock wall

From the spot you have a nice view of the stony wall, on top of which a lonely tree rises, which serves well as a photo motif.

It is advisable to be there in the golden hour (morning or evening) or else on a cloudy day to avoid too much sunlight. Autumn is especially suitable because of the colorful leaves.

Maloja is well connected to public transport. From St. Moritz, a post bus runs from morning to evening to Maloja. From there, a 15-minute dirt road leads past the popular photo spot on the pass road to the "von Orden" dam. From there you can reach the photo spot from the north end via a steep path. Sturdy shoes are recommended, as the terrain is stony and surrounded by tall grass.
